নদ-নদী ভাঙ্গা-গড়া খেলার মত মানব জীবনেও সভ্যতার উদ্ভব, পরিবর্তন এবং পরিবর্তন হয়ে আসছে যা ঐতিহাসিক সত্য। অনাগত দিনের জীবন-জীবিকা, নিরাপত্তা ও উন্নতির স্বার্থে মানব বসতির পরিবর্তন ও পরিবর্ধন আজও চলছে। অনুরূপভাবে দেখা যায়, আমাদের সাভার এলাকার কমলাপুর, ধরেন্ডা, রাজাসন ও দেওগাঁও গ্রামগুলোতে কাথলিক খ্রীষ্টান জনগোষ্ঠীর বসতি স্থাপন শুরু হয় উনিশ শতকের প্রথমার্ধে। এ খ্রীষ্টান জনগোষ্ঠী এসেছে বর্তমান গাজীপুর জেলার অন্তর্গত তুমিলিয়া, দড়িপাড়া, রাঙ্গামাটিয়া, নাগরী ও মঠবাড়ী কাথলিক মিশন এলাকা হতে। ঐ সময়ে এ সাভার অঞ্চল গভীর বন জঙ্গলে
